Bamboo Rose is the leading multi-enterprise product and supply chain SaaS platform for retailers and brands, connecting retailers and suppliers to optimize product and supply chain processes. The company decided to migrate its core platform from on-premises data centers to the cloud and wanted to be able to support multiple cloud platforms. It engaged Logicworks to help migrate its core applications to Microsoft Azure due to Logicworks’ experience on Azure and commitment to cloud security and compliance.

- Database rehosting of its Windows applications to IaaS and replatforming SQL server to PaaS

- Deployment of a Disaster Recovery environment with Azure Site Recovery and database replication

- After migration, Bamboo Rose engaged Logicworks for Azure Managed Services, including 24×7 support, patching, backups, monitoring & incident response
Results
As a result of working with Logicworks, Bamboo Rose was able to launch their SaaS product on Azure on-time and on-budget. The platform meets their high security and compliance requirements, and was configured to meet SOC2 standards. Their custom infrastructure as code configurations with Terraform have resulted in a 70% reduction in time-to-deployment for new clients. Azure PaaS services and Logicworks Managed Services have resulted in a dramatic reduction in infrastructure management burden on their in-house team, so that they can be free to focus on developing software. It launched its Azure SaaS offering to its first customer, a multi-billion dollar retailer, and plans to onboard more companies to the platform in the coming months.
